U/B Mill EDH

My name is Erich. I am new to the writing scene for MTG. I enjoying playing fun formats such as EDH/Commander, Modern, and anything involved with Chaos drafting. I am a father of three children that all play MTG. All of my kids play EDH/Commander and Modern. I will be writing about different subjects within our favorite game. I will write about Grand Prix and my time at each Grand Prix that I attend. I will also write about any SCG tournaments that i will go to also. I will also do some deck techs, decklists, articles and reviews, and finally a little about MTG cosplay through my eyes. With that being said, I am going to talk about one of my favorite types of decks. I will be talking about MILL, specifically EDH U/B MILL. I love MILL. When I say, “I love MILL,” I do mean that MILL is my second wife. I used to have a modern mill deck, but I no longer have that deck only because I wanted to do more than MILL in modern. However, I will build another MILL deck within the year so I can have it for a backup deck for my local FNM.

Some of you are already thinking, “G** D*****, this guy is a dirty MILL player!” Here me out. U/B MILL in EDH is a fun deck while wreaking havoc in a match. 1vs1 is always fun and this deck can be a dominating deck. In multiplayer, you can always get some fun stuff in this deck to make it viable to control the game. Anyways, here is my list:

All of the creatures in this deck either MILL or EXILE cards from the opponent’s library. The Planeswalkers do all kinds of shenanigans. [card]Psychic Spiral[/card] and [card]Elixir of Immortality[/card] help bring my graveyard back into the library. The first causes MILLING for target opponent while I return my graveyard to my library. The second will give me 5 life while I return my graveyard to the library.

Overall, this deck is a very fun EDH/Commander deck and can be upgraded to more efficient lands and spells. Of course, you can add [card]Jace, the Mind Sculptor[/card] and make it more powerful. Yes, you can change the lands around to make it more efficient. Feel free to have fun with this deck and change it around to suit your MILL desires and needs. I know this deck satisfies my MILL needs so I can focus on other decks in modern.

Thanks for reading and I plan on getting more articles out soon.
